The Port Authority of Allegheny County reduced the public transportation services offered to the Greater Pittsburgh region. This has resulted in a loss of jobs and a limited quality of service. The government has recognized that this is a problem, and is discussing what the governmental strategy for the future of public transportation in the Greater Pittsburgh region.
