Operating system: Mac OS X
MacOS X security sometimes does not allow the installation of applications downloaded from other websites instead of the App Store.
When you try to install it, it will throw an error message that “the app is damaged and can’t be opened.” This error makes you believe
that the downloaded app is corrupted. It is not. However, this is a simple issue that can be corrected based on your macOS (Operating
System) version.
To find out which version you have, go to the Apple icon (at the top left corner of your screen) and click it. Select "About This Mac". In the pop-up window, you will see the name of your current operating system.
For older versions of the macOS (prior to October 2019): El Capitan, Sierra, High Sierra, or Mojave, scroll down for the installation guidelines.
For newer versions of the macOS (after October 2019), Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey, or Ventura follow these guidelines.
Installation guidelines for newer Mac operating systems
If you have a newer macOS version: Catalina, Big Sur, Monterey, or Ventura, follow these steps:
- After downloading the SuperDecisions file, you will find it in the Downloads folder on your Mac. Copy and paste it from there to your Applications folder.
- Next, open the Terminal by going to the top right of your screen and clicking on the magnifying glass (the Spotlight Search icon).
- Copy the following command and paste it into the Terminal, then hit return to execute it:
sudo xattr -rd com.apple.quarantine /Applications/SuperDecisions.app - When the Terminal asks for a password, please type your Mac computer password. (Note: Don't paste it in, you must type it.) It will not appear on the screen, but don't worry, it's there. Then hit return.
- Then go to your Applications folder and double-click SuperDecisions to install it.
- If everything went OK, you will see a pop-up window asking for the SuperDecisions serial key. The serial key was given above, or you can find it here.
