Short Description

The selection of a host city for the Olympic Games is extremely important, as a large part of the success of the Games depends on the site that is chosen seven years prior. The factors that play role in the decision are not limited to purely technical or financial criteria. Each candidate city must demonstrate to the International Olympic Committee that its bid to stage the greatest multidisciplinary event in the world has the support of its people and all its political authorities. The main purpose of the games is to contribute to building a peaceful and better world by educating youth through sport, practiced without discrimination of any kind. In this project the goal is to determine the identity of the host city for the 2000 Olympic Games.
